According to industry analyst firm Gartner, as much as 5% of a typical organization’s revenue is spent on office printing and imaging, yet those costs can be reduced by 10% to 30% by actively managing their print environment.
It seems, however, that many organizations still have not adopted widely accepted strategies for managing print even though the solutions are simple, the required investment is small, the time?to?benefits is short and the cost savings can be substantial. Combine this with the ‘every penny counts’ mentality of a down economy, the advent of new third?party tools and services, and the heightened focus on environmental sustainability and the time has never been better, nor the potential cost savings higher, for bringing printing into a well?managed environment.
